Executive Protection Advanced Course

Executive protection (EP), also known as close protection, refers to security measures taken to ensure the safety of VIPs. Celebrities, Executives, or other individuals may be exposed to elevated personal risk because of their employment, celebrity status, wealth, associations, or geographical location.

This is an advanced five (5) day course where participants learn to optimize their security situational awareness, develop operational plans, conduct route, and site surveys, run motorcade operations, perform foot formations and execute emergency immediate action procedures. Teamwork is the essential key to success and this course emphasizes it by culminating in a realistic street evade and recover scenario mission. This is a physically and mentally demanding course requiring long days and maximum student participation. Students should prepare accordingly.

9. Recognize, prevent, and defend against common street attacks
10. Utilization of cover and concealment with the principal
11. Protective driving
12. Protective emergency medical—stop the bleed/CPR/AED
13. Firearms and less than lethal options

Class is five (5) days, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Monday, September 13 – Friday, September 17
Monday, September 27 – Friday, October 1

Cost: $2,775.00 per person, corporate discounts available for multiple attendees

Prerequisite Requirements: NRA Basic Pistol Safety Certificate, CCW Permit/Firearm ID Card, and Firearms Qualification Certificate (Dated within 60 days of course)

Accommodations: Available within 5 miles of the training academy
